Race across France 2025
Third time's the charm? After a promising 12th place finish in 2023 and a heartbreaking DNF in 2024, I've returned to Race Across France with a completely different mindset. This year, I'm leaving nothing to chance. Gone is the ultra-light carbon frame that failed me; in its place, a robust steel Standert Pfadfinder built for reliability. Gone are the haphazard sleep patterns, replaced by structured 3-hour rest periods. Even with a challenging career transition during my final preparation weeks, I've arrived in Dinan more prepared than ever for the 2607km journey ahead. But in ultra-cycling, preparation is only half the battle…
