About the race
UBF Cévennes is part of the UltraBike France series, short-format ultras that pack a punch. The 500km route winds through the Cévennes National Park and surrounding mountains, one of France's most remote and least populated areas. Expect narrow roads, long climbs, and very few services.
This is my season opener, a test of winter form before the bigger events later in the year.
Why this race
The Cévennes is one of those places that rewards you for suffering. The roads are empty, the scenery is raw, and there's no hiding from the terrain. It's a perfect way to shake off the winter dust and get into race mode early.
